Marketing & Growth for Henrico County Small Businesses

Henrico County is full of established small businesses doing good work: in Short Pump, Glen Allen, Lakeside, Varina, Sandston and along West Broad. A lot of them have the same problem. The business is good, but the marketing hasn't caught up to it.

I'm Denali Roberts Willis, founder of Willis Growth Studio. I've been a business owner since I was 13, including years owning and operating restaurants in the Richmond region, so I look at your business the way an owner does, not just the way a marketer does.

What I help Henrico businesses with

  • Social media and content: strategy, original photo and video, captions, publishing and a monthly review of what's actually working.

  • Squarespace websites: built around the questions your customers ask before they choose you.

  • Local visibility: Google Business Profile, directories and reviews, so people searching in Henrico can find and trust you.

  • Outreach and partnerships: connecting with other Henrico businesses, groups and events where your customers already are.

  • Operations and strategy: the systems behind your marketing and a plan that fits your budget and your season.

Competing in a busy market

In busy retail and dining corridors like Short Pump and West Broad, standing out isn't about posting more. It's about being consistent, recognizable and easy to choose. Virality is a happy surprise, not a plan.

One client per niche

I only take one business per industry and market at a time, so you get my full attention and I'm never working for your direct competitor.
